Om Textbook

• The textbooks present a large variation of topics, including challenging issues such as ocean rubbish, the endangered life of polar bears, emigration etc., connecting English learning to society in a relevant way.
• There is a clear progression in the material through the three years (grade 4, 5 and 6), in topics, exercises, grammar and vocabulary.
• There is a good representation of genders, ethnicities and generations in the material.

Om Teacher’s Guide

• The three teacher guides provide useful help for the teachers to plan the work with each chapter, and it has a clearly presented basis in the genre pedagogy and the teaching/learning cycle.
• The teacher’s book contains a wealth of material, excellent lesson plans and extra material such as games, cue cards, and cross references to the additional materials. The Läraweb makes presentation of materials on big screens such as whiteboards easy.

The Competition The Best European Learning Materials Awards are presented every year to high quality educational materials that have been produced in any country in Europe.

An international jury of experts evaluates all products and gives written feedback on the entries, describing the strengths and weaknesses. 

Published learning materials may be entered for the competition under four different categories.
